Blue Hills Traverse.
13th overall. Although they have me listed in the results as the first male veteran, am not quite old enough for that bracket - but I did beat the first male veteran by almost a minute and a half - thankful the course wasn't any longer or he would have gotten me.
Cramping up now and then from about 17 on. Last loop was a challenge.

Gentle run on the knee to gauge readiness for the Traverse.
Trying out a new set of shoes - New Balance 910 Trails - rather stiff, but much more protection than the 572 Trails.
Not a lot of pep - but glad to get out.

Thought I'd track exertion while raking leaves - a good steady effort - more than half in L1 zone.
Need to work on my arms before ski season starts.
