Stayed warm overnight, so some melting had been going on. Wasn't waxed for wet grass, so was sticking in places.
Found a section just N of a treeline that had better cover - some double poling intervals. Felt like a 98 lb weakling. Supose I have to start somewhere.

First time on skis this year - field across from Robbie Mills Complex.
Nice crust cruising, breaking through a bit, but not a lot of depth so no problem. Not overly stable - defintely need some time on snow to get back in the rhythm.
Some V1, V2 & alt, double poling.

Some trailos have been well used since the snow fell, others not so much. Looks like a couple of folks had been out earlier this morning - fresh tracks on an otherwise untouched section.
Wished I had on studded shoes in a few spots.
