Third day in a row skiing in November. Didn't get out quite soon enough - things were softening up a lot. Cobble was good - smoothed out from Saturday and fairly firm. Other trails were softer, would sink in with a weird vibration, both pushing and gliding. A lot of work. Didn't help that I wasn't waxed for warm and wet.
GPS turned off at the hairpin at the top of Oak - added time and distance coming back in.

They groomed out a lot more - packed and rolled. Uneven in places, and some grit pulled up, but overall very nice.
Saw a few folks - a lot of happy faces.

Over a foot of snow on Wednesday into Thanksgiving morning. Although we'd lost power, things were stable enough at home to head over to Gunstock and see if anything had been groomed. As it was fairly heavy and wet, they'd let is sit and dry out and had just started some packing. A few folks had been out so opted for my wider back country skis. Went out with Leah, the new XC Center manager, and had a blast. Out Quiver and back along Longbow - although someone had skied on around Cobble. Went down the new trail - will be nice once it's properly groomed out. Hairpinned back up Cobble, then Leah had to head back to the hut. Did some more back and forth on my own, then decided to not overdo it too much on the first day back skiing.
