Ski by myself - no takers from the little people.
Warming up faster than I thought - snow cover thinning out and getting wet.
Still not much zip, would start up a hill and just bog down physically. Stopped too many times to rest & catch my breath.

Went home and took a nap.

Short ski with Ryan on about 6" of fresh stuff.
His energy and enthusiasm levels weren't too high, but we got through it.
Pretty good conditions where they'd rolled and then dragged the sled around to smooth it. Some mtn bikes out - only created issues in a few places where they'd bog down going up a hill, then hop off and walk their bikes up, right in the middle of the trail.

Helping with the GNA kids program. Swapping back and forth with some of the other adults on skiing with different kids, some pointers and a lot of encouragement and positive feedback given. All on the Lanes and Brook Run with a HS race going on across the road.
Conditions pretty icy, but they've been able to scrape up most of the surface so it's skiable. Some bare spots, but able to get around them.
After the HS race finished and they left, kids did a few minutes of pillow polo. I went out on the race loop for a short spin. Downhills were OK, uphills were mashed potato consistency corn snow 2-3" deep and the corners were piles of corn snow pushed off to the side, leaving ice in the most traveled rut.
Nothing broken, nothing bent, so a good day.
