Red course at College Woods - got smoked by Tim P, and Dave Yee squeaked in 5 seconds ahead of me.
Not a great run - quite a few bobbles.
Great visibility in the woods for the most part and pretty runnable - my legs not so much.

Hiking 4:44:24 [1] 9.11 km (31:12 / km) +562m 23:51 / km

Hiking and BRATTS trail tending work -Glidden Road, up over Rand, Klem and Mack, then worked my way over to Anna.
Clipped a few branches back, cut some moderate sized blowdowns, and did a lot of clearing leaves from multiple stream crossings so the sludge and water wouldn't make for wet-feet crossings.
Interacted with 6 people, 25 ticks and numerous black flies (still early for them, but it's been warm.
From Anna, headed towards Straightback, took the March Crossing Trail to the stream/beaver area, then bushwhacked over towards the Reed Rd trail. A few more beaver ponds than expected, found the logging cuts, which included some pucker brush and more ticks. Up and over the E shoulder of W Quarry, then down a logging cut on the other side (steep and muddy), then cut over towards the Glidden Rd trail - hit it a few hundred meters above my truck.
Took longer to de-tick back at the truck than expected - took off my shorts, turned them inside out and found another half-dozen.
