Felt pretty good today. Pile of snow in the stadium is just growing and growing - heard equipment issues got in the way of it being moved out onto the trails.
Had about an inch of powder on top of what was out there. Big groomer had been out on Maple and Cobble - things were in pretty good shape considering the thin cover.

Feeling a bit blah - should be all "Hey, there's snow on the ground and I'm skiing!! Life is great!!!" but was lethargic with no oomph.

Still stayed out for over an hour...

First groomed trail ski of the season - a bit on the chilly side. 19 F with some wind out of the N - not much of a factor in the woods, but avoided coming back along Cobble beside the road to stay on a more sheltered trail.
Trails were in so-so shape - hard packed and uneven where the kids had been doing laps earlier, thin in areas with some rocks showing up. Small sno-cat had been out to the pumphouse - further churned up Cobble.
Went out Birch to the field, this had fewer tracks.
Technique was about what I expected - need to do some balance drills and get my timing back down. Core needs some work - nothing a few hill repetitions (or a lot) won't fix over time.
