Nice to get out. Skis were a bit slow, as was I.
Pretty good conditions - some thin spots.
Outer trails hadn't been groomed overnight - so they were a bit slicker. Coming down Maple was exciting - did that very slowly.

Hike up to the top of Rowe to do some blowdown removal. Trimmed some low branches and some that become low when covered with snow.
Heading down as the sun set on the other side of the ridge and a snow squall passed through.

Did get out and do something - but a more aerobic activity probably would have served me better in shaking out the cobwebs.

Ramblin Vewe Farm trail run in the cold and dark. Things had firmed up from the warm spell, so all the slush puddles were hard. Where folks had been walking was uneven, so the running was better to the sides where it was smooth and crisp.

Downhill Ski 1:30:00 [1]

Downhill skiing - moderate crowds, but with all the lifts turning, folks were spread out across the mountain.
Mostly firm and fast, with some sections that were more churned up with mounds of mashed potatoes.
3 hours of steady skiing - calling it 90 minutes of leg workout.
