Hot and humid, ended in "the dim" - had my new small headlamp with me, which was perfect.

Got some nice shots of Double-Dammed Pond and the ledges overlooking Wicwas, with Glimpses of the N end of Winnisquam.

Hoped to get an earlier start to beat the heat - missed by a couple hours - should have been finishing at 9:30, not starting.
Didn't find the streamer at 1, but Usynlig-O was beeping away and I knew I was in the right area - looked up and down the reentrant - but short sight lines so decided to move on.
Wandered too far right on the way S out of 2 heading to 2, finally found the trail that I wanted to then take E and cut the corner, but things weren't matching up. A lot of New England white woods -ended up going almost due S 500 m - if I'd had the bearing up the hill correct, would have hit the trail in 400 m. Saw the semi-open marsh, but didn't trust where I was - would have been smarter to beeline for 2 from there - maybe aim off right a bit to hit the stonewall and go in from the junction - but instead too the trail, looping back N wondering when I'd hit the N-S stone wall - no problem close to the control.
ON a couple controls, was right at the streamer but phone hadn't toned, so went to the map on the app - where am I?, to see which direction to move to get a 'punch'.
Noticed just now that just under the title of the map it says 5 m contours, but the legend says 3 m...

Very short session - warmed up more after running earlier at Baldwin Hill - just no energy. Sweating up a storm and not feeling very stable, so decided enough was enough.
