Super Endurance Builder (XC Hike) 8:00:00 [2]

A long XC hike with my sister up one of the many radia ridges coming off of Mount Rainier. Some good route choice decisions were to be had + some great views. It got a bit burly when we encounter the outlet for the Paradise Glacier, in the evening when melting is at its highest. After some trial and error we surpassed the torrent.

Super Endurance Builder (HIke) 4:00:00 [2]

A nice hike on Mount Rainier, with map. We hiked up to the apex of Emerald Ridge and hung out with some amazing views of the western flank of the mountain. I twisted my ankle pretty bad on the way down... I wasn't wearing the right shoes :( It not too bad so I should be able to continue training.

Trail Run 2:37:00 [3] 15.0 mi (10:28 / mi)
ahr:150

My dad hinted at the old Mountain Run in the Olympics, for a long run, so it was off to Deer Park and the start of the classic trial run. I was a bit tired after the long run on Saturday, but was ready for more great views and long hills. I felt pretty good the whole way, and made the run in pretty good time.

Trail Run 1:55:00 [3]
ahr:152

Trail run in the Olympics, up to Upper Lena Lake. I was able to run most of the way until I hit the steep section towards the end and had to super hike. The view was great.

Trail Run 1:10:00 [3]

I decided to take a quick side run up to Scout Pass, above the lake. The pass exhibited a great 360 degree view of the Eastern Olympics. I was a bit scared of bears up there but everything went well.

Trail Run 1:00:00 [3]

Running down from Lena Lake. All together I ran about 18 miles.

Trail Run 1:20:00 [3]
ahr:160

Quick run up Green Mountain early in the morning, felt good to get out and run after the long drive back from the 1000 days. Felt strong all of the way up, but a bit slow on descent due to a twisted ankle.
