Okanagan College. Regular runners just not up to the side hills... A couple of less than stellar route choices. But wonderful to be running in mild temps and sunshine :) Graeme R was 13:39. I was 22:03

Becker Ridge 1. Overran #2 and lost 40s+. Took the uphill leg 9-10. Regretted that as I was hauling myself up the hill but it might have been ok. Also lost 26s on the uphill to #1, 25s on #4 (nearly got trapped by a gate), 17s on the steep uphill to #8. Adam W was 16:20. I was 25:58

Becker Ridge final. Again the same steep climb to the first control. 24 controls mostly in a very small hilly area. Some questions about climbing the uncrossable cliff (I didn't...) or the uncrossable creek under the bridge (I didn't). But again a challenging course!! 21:03. Graeme R 11:48 so only squeaked into the double the winner's time...

Just couldn't get into the 1:4000 scale on a forest map. Missed #2 - it was only ~50 metres from a distinct corner but I wandered a long way away... Improved a bit but then possibly did a 180 out of #9 and then was off the map... Finally relocated on the dirt road north of the cars and decided not to go all the way back up for 10-15... My first DNF for a long time. I think I was starting to get tired! (However, I didn't know it but if I had finished I might have got the sock prize for the longest error on a leg but finished the course!)
I was at 29:36 at #9 and approx 39:33 when I realised where I was on the road...

Wow - uploaded by itself! Ran to the post office to mail J A's glasses, then to the library, then home. Seem to be still tired and had to walk part of the way home. Snow is rapidly disappearing.
