Note
I thought it might be time for an update. When last I left this intrepid crowd, I had just tested positive for Covid. Well, I survived this past week, but sometimes it felt like "just barely." I had more severe symptoms than "mild," including a fainting episode and a call to 911 (two separate incidents). Made all the more scary when you're living on your own.
I had temps up to 104˚, with an average of 101˚. Body aches to where I could hardly move, nausea, diarrhea, cough, congestion, constant headache, dizziness, loss of sense of smell and taste...pretty much every symptom that Covid delivers.
Today, however, I feel a sense of hope. No fever so far today, no dizziness, and I had a bowl of Cheerios...my first real food in a while. I'm still weak, but that will just take time to remedy. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this weekend brings even better results and hopefully allow me to go for a walk around the neighborhood.
