Run(trail) warm up/down 12:00 [1] 0.75 mi (16:00 / mi)

Orienteering race 49:37 [3] ** 4.68 mi (10:36 / mi) +66m 10:09 / mi
spiked:8/16c shoes: La Sportiva C-lite 2

Oatka Creek (Red): First time here and I don't think I knew this park existed. Most everything was runnable with the exception of swamps and few dark green patches.

AP thinks I had only one error, 28s on control 6. I was very cautious approaching because there were pits that could swallow houses everywhere. 9 of 17 people lost time on this control.

Control 14 caused massive errors for anyone that was being aggressive. 11 of 17 lost time here. With Dave losing 15:32. Attacking from the field was the best bet since you could see the control and stay dry. This route seemed like a waste of time, but was clearly the most successful.

Orienteering race 37:09 [2] 3.62 mi (10:16 / mi) +31m 10:00 / mi
spiked:9/13c shoes: La Sportiva C-lite 2

Interesting sprint(ish) course. Dave C. did great job in designing and setting the course but there is only so much you can do in a small city park.
