Orienteering race 1:03:40 [4] 5.5 mi (11:35 / mi)
shoes: V J Supra (2)

Northern Champs, Mulgrave Woods.
Course 6, M50L. 7.3km, 455m.
A game of two halves. First half open but steep muddy deciduous woodland with few paths and contour detail. Second half long path/track route choice legs. I ran well through the first section and thought i did ok on the second. Unfortunately it seems i missed the best route choices on the long legs which involved using a tunnel. #10 alone I lost 1.5 minutes to Quentin.
Finished 2nd to Quentin yet again this time just 10 seconds behind :-(
Splits say he passed me just before the penultimate control. In reality it was my poor route to #10 that cost me the race.
R Achilles a bit sore again towards the end of the race. Ice when home.
