A very fun Sprint (Orienteering style). No mistakes of substance, but very very slow physically. I was sore and tired before I started.

May have set a record today. Not in speed, distance, or any function of running, but rather a quality of the day itself.

My atomic clock sits on the dresser at the foot of my bed. With it I get the most reliable display of time available and fathomable by me. In addition I have the temperature of the room and that of the back yard via a simple transmitter. By its reckoning I can know that at 6:15 am when I awoke it was 65.2° in my bedroom and 18.9° outside. Quite a cool Spring morning.

As we embarked on our routine run, Steve mentioned that we may have broken the 20° record this morning. If that was the record, we did indeed experience the setting of a new one. How's that for two washed up runners in a backwater town? We set records!

Went short today. Warmer, in the mid 40's. Drizzly. No meds this morning, so I was feeling it in my knees and hips early on. I have to experiment every now and then to make sure that what I am doing (taking NSAIDs, and applying Diclofenac gel) is necessary and working.

Sundays are interesting in that there are few cars, thus little danger, and nearly no wait in crossing intersections.
