orienteering race 1:26:14 [3] *** 10.0 km (8:37 / km) +250m 7:40 / km
shoes: Inov8 X-Talon 212 (#2)

Long champs.
Great area, plentiful rock and open forest, but feeling slow from the start. Fairly clean run, with a couple of small mistakes/veering off course before running off the map at #9. Finally got to an obviously "not on teh map" feature and started North only to come to the place where I had gone wrong and all was obvious. 17 minutes for the leg :(

Still, its all about the middle distance isn't it ?

orienteering race 18:48 [4] 3.0 km (6:16 / km)
shoes: Asics GT 1000

Sprint champs - never really got into the map, control density very high. Fairly clean run, but may have got some route choices wrong or hesitated too much.

run 15:00 [3] 2.0 km (7:30 / km)
shoes: Asics GT 1000

Warm up/warm down. Calf/achilles/ankle not 100%, but not too painful either.

Friday Sep 27, 2013 #

run 18:00 [3] 3.0 km (6:00 / km)
shoes: Asics GT 1000

Test run - should be OK to run tomorrow if not Sunday. Down to the water quite hard and then cruise back. Still definitely something wrong, see if it gets worse today post-run.

Thursday Sep 26, 2013 #

run 1 [1] 0.05 km (20 / km)
(injured) shoes: Asics GT 1000

Test run - fail :-(

Note
(injured)

Can now walk up stairs with minimal pain and down without whimpering. Which is good as I'm back from camping.

kayak 2:00:00 [2] 7.0 km (17:09 / km)
(injured)

Rafting trip down the Colo, kids aged 4 upwards.

Right leg more functional, but this wasn't great for my elbow. What a crock.
