Long W side of river run to work.
Felt good to run for a bit longer, was underdone after yesterday and not v sore today.

QB3 - Sprint WSU Macarthur
Never got running hard, should have worn glasses from the go-get.
Just slow early, then misread where 8 (123) was, so lost a litle getting to right level up ramps (should have used the stairs). Then out of the map flip I picked the dud route and probably lost a minute.
#12 was so close to the path below I got a beep without going to the control (without trying).
#15 Re-visiting 123 I (again) came in on the wrong height. Tried to register a punch by jumping straight up with my arm in the air (again) but it failed.

Messy slow run, where I checked all the control codes to lock up the 3 days title, so job done, but not satisfactory.

orienteering race 39:44 [4] 6.3 km (6:19 / km) +99m 5:51 / km
shoes: Inov-8 X-Talon 212 (#7 Black)

QB3 - Day 2 "long" Arthursleigh

Disappointingly short course. Runnable spur-gully. Ok until 7 where I lost contact going into the control area and then misread the map and went and checked out another control. Dumb.

Good apart from that, but thrashed by Tony Woolford (who found all the roight controls today).

In the box seat for tomorrrow, think Shingo is now in second.

shoes: Inov-8 X-Talon 212 (#7 Black)

Queens Birthday 3-day - Day 1 - middle, The Piggery

Fun course, through most of the good rock. Small miss at about #10 let Ali get to me, then another going to 12 after Ali had passed me. I put the map away to see how fast he was running, turns out it was faster than he navigates at. A little bit scrappy from there to the end, just edged by Greg in the old men (although he was in M45).

stretching 10:00 [3]

Note

Definitely pulled up worse than a hokka shod run.
7 AM

run 52:47 [3] 7.83 km (6:44 / km) +165m 6:06 / km
shoes: Asics GT 1000 #6 (black)

Nice to get out for a run, shoe logistics meant I run to run in non-Hokkas :(
