Orienteering race 23:25 [4] 3.03 km (7:44 / km)

Hobbled around the course nursing very stiff legs after yesterday, especially my right calf. Had a lot of trouble with number 1 (lost 4 mins), just couldn't get the map to fit and ended up at 2 twice. Went into 13 from the wrong direction to lose even more time. Very different sprint course set by Undy, good fun despite the rain.

Sydney Striders's Equaliser
Belrose - St Ives - Belrose. Big decent to the cascades, big climb up to Acron Oval, road section (not flat), undulating track then another big decent followed by a final big climb up the the road and the finish.

Only time I've run this race before was 7 years ago and I was 5 mins faster, so don't know whether to be pleased with my time or not. Faster than a lot of the road runners on the rocky decents but suffered a bit from a lack of pace on the flatter sections. Resorted to walking in a few places on the final big pull up to Belrose (memories of how hard it is to cycle up this track). Absolutely drenched by the finish as it was very humid.
