Orienteering race (SL15 - NSW Middle Distanc) 53:55 [4] 5.9 km (9:08 / km)
shoes: Inov8 x-talon 212 original (2)

Connorton - Course 2 (M50)
Well that was hard! Ok to 1 then ignored 2 when I ran to it as I misread my control descriptions. 3 was fine then struggled from 4 to 8, thankful of glimpses of Briohny who was running strongly. A bit of a train developed from 12 onwards with Briohny, GrantM and then O'ing but all fell apart at 20 where we all struggled to read the map because of all the detail. Great challenging course.

Orienteering race (State League 14) 35:38 [4] 5.66 km (6:18 / km)
shoes: Inov8 x-talon 212 original (2)

Pomingalarna Nature Reserve - Hard 2 (M50)
Great course in open bush onthe western outskirts of Wagga. Lots of MTB tracks and earth banks, the latter being a far better bet for navigation. Only real problem was on 13 where I couldn't get the map to fit, thankfully Clara cruised into the control putting me out of my misery. Big climb to 14 then fast finish. First M50 (helps having a small field).

Note
(sick)

Don't seem to be able to shake this cough off. Hasn't come to much but feel it's still waiting to pounce.
