swimming 20:00 [1]

Water was once again chilly for swim lessons, but Katherine had fun anyway. Cut it a bit short since both she and Sophia (the other girl in her class) were both shivering pretty hard.

orienteering 1:38:00 [3]

Went out having not quite decided between doing the short advanced or whole course. Made up my mind pretty quick on the way to 1 when I had no energy in my legs and couldn't focus, either. Overran 1, to the tune of being most of the way to 2 when I figured out what I was doing. Still goofed up 2, then decided that following Ben (yes, the dog) was somehow a viable route choice to 3. Gave myself a stern talking to, and managed to mostly remove my head from my ass for the rest of the course. Still no pep in my Iegs, though, so I was just shuffling through the woods feeling sorry for myself because last weekend I felt so fantastic. But it was a beautiful day, and nice woods, so I couldn't stay in a funk all afternoon.

biking 25:00 [2]

Stationary trainer at the gym. Not feeling super peppy today-got my flu shot yesterday, so hopefully this will pass in another day or so.

swimming 30:00 [1]

It's so fun watching Katherine go from being VERY timid in the water, to today, when she was jumping in all by herself, swimming under water, and at the end of class, she said she didn't want to get out and get lunch, she wanted to keep swimming :) Hard to believe only 2 weeks ago she was crying most of the way through class. Only 1 more week of classes, then we'll likely take a break until after the new year before I sign up for another session. Really appreciate the new aquatic director, though, she's been fantastic getting new programs started up on base (including a master's club, yay!)
