Orienteering Meet race 1:22:17 [4] *** 7.7 km (10:41 / km) +100m 10:02 / km
ahr:151 max:170 spiked:15/16c

The warmest day of the year and a great course at Deer Grove. Even though the veg was light green moving at a slower speed was very doable. No controls botched but went on the wrong trail for a bit heading towards no.9. Nice day and a decent crowd at one of our most popular venues. Went out later to pick a few controls with friends.

Saw Jimmy Cliff on Austin City Limits on TV and that was enough to jam the djembe with the show and play guitar after.

Yea a run with the track girls, but if you listened to the complaining at first and during, good thing I can block them out and just run. But when a 400 runner says that its too long, and I say this is exactly what they need a day after racing.....nice easy 4 mile run..a couple of decent hills. and it almost became warm.....

Perfect I say.

Oh I needed some of this and and just kept playing to decide which guitar really had the best sound and or nicest action. It all came down to the one that started all this GAS (guitar addicting syndrome) my 1967 Gibson J-50 adj...still has some of the best action and sound.

Warmup and 4 quarter repeats in 85, 86, 90, 91 ....A bit much for first real track workout, but pretty happy with starting the program.
