Tried to run with more forefoot action using my old racing flats.

Saw my Cardiologist today and was given a clean bill of health.... So I decided to get in a run. 2 mile tempo again and a higher Ave HR then Sat. But not such a crazy spread of info,,,, wonder if the overhead power lines had anything to do with it. But I AVG 153 HR with out any spikes. Time was slower but a bit of a head wind. Still feeling good, wish I could of orienteered better yesterday.

Busse woods and it was a great day for O. Big crowds early in the event. After posting a few signs off I went and was doin well till I misjudge a marsh as mine and was going to give up till I decided to go in from a pit on the trail and bingo it was there. No 10 was a bingo control, a small clearing in flat woods. I actuall at no. 6 ran into KB and we ended up running together mosty of the rest of the time.

Control pickup, but this was fustration day as I had awards to give out at noon and no one was around, so I am scrapping that program, trying to get folks to go to St Louis for relay champs, not much progress and still need meet directors for 2 meets this fall. NO LUCK. So I guess I am going to let it ride with a few more attempts before i fade into oblivion.

All systems go for running, meaning it time to start to train a bit harder.
Tempo run without steve as he has a bad hamstring and after stepping on grass popped it. So I finished the workout anyway....not so far in the 20 minute tempo with out him ,but ok.

Ride back from dropping off piece of crap ranger /ford to see why the battery is getting drained and won't start after a day or so of sitting. Oh this is a new battery. Wish my old Toyota didn't bite the with dust from the rust from around here.

Cool new trail called White River Trail, started out north of Bong and went through Burlington and we ended up in Lake Geneva...real rail to trail sorta of boring straight... But a new trail is a cool trail.
