Oceania Long Distance
Probably one of the most technical courses I have run. Was off to a great start but got a bit cocky to # 3 where I was unsure where I left the track and disaster struck... lost 12 mins on 5 min leg!!!
# 9 - 2 water stations on track and made classical parallel mistake. Lost 2:30
# 11 - complete brain fart and took route on right of line rather than going wide and bypassing all details. Here goes another 7 mins...
# 17 - got AP but distracted by others - lost another 1:30

Most people had a few stories to tell and got their monies worth!!!

Oceania sprint
Wasn't super fast but just tried not to stuff up too badly.
Lost time to # 2 as I started running back up the ramp before I realised I could just go around the building and went down the ramp again ... (30 sec)
# 9 - had trouble finding the small passage in green (20 sec)
# 12 - just lost it temporarily and took a while to relocate on road (15 secs.

At Pine Ridge while waiting for Annabelle. Felt really good after yesterday's LSD - except for tight back for a while :(

Guiding Liz during her 2nd half marathon. Shared guiding with ironman Lap. The weather started off nice and sunny before rain from about 8kms onwards. Really enjoyed running as a group and Liz did really well improving her PB by 2 mins. Felt like I cheated as I had a nice little break of about 4kms before I joined them again for the homestretch.
