Run 10:00 [1]

Orienteering 1:40:00 [3]

COCs long. Good focus throughout the race, sticking to my plan to be safe and not rush through the course. Good pacing, but tired and could feel the summer of racing in the legs today! Still, a fun day and really enjoyed the nice long run! Thanks to my fellow MBers for such a great weekend of racing!

Run 35:00 [1]

COCs middle. Good run today, took my time with the map, good flow and ran hard when it was safe. A couple hesitations in the circle when the control was hard to see, but otherwise a solid run.

Put my routes up on RG from the sprint and middle. Check out the cool maps.

Run 30:00 [1]

Orienteering 15:00 [4]

Orienteering 20:00 [1]

Model map before COCs sprint. Started carefully to get into the map, but still had some trouble with the veg and dropped almost 1' by the 5th control. Quickly realized I had to crank up the pace to take some time back, so it worked out ok in the end. Turned out nearly everyone lost 1' along the way too. Fun race, really enjoyed the spectator friendly arena feel.

Orienteering 35:00 [2]

Run 15:00 [1]

Relay with the MB boys. 3rd leg, disappointed to be heading out a long way off the lead. Didn't race it too hard to save the legs for tomorrow. Good run, enjoyed the course.

AM. relay with Reid. Solid running by the rookie MBer.
PM. Goat race. Fun to get rolling in the sandhills again. Enjoyed the race despite the heat. Lost some time in various twilight zones, but had a good run otherwise.
