Surprisingly slow today. Felt like it went a little bit faster than it did in reality going around the Skyline trail (plus the to and from the parking).

They also had rerouted part of the trail. I guess the DCR thought one part was too dangerous (ie too steep and rocky) so they rerouted the trail around that.

I went to Estabrook woods to start checking out control points for the meet in November. The map is bad, especially the contours. It is crazy off in some locations. I had to move three control points, all due to contours.

I am gearing up to remap Estabrook, though it will not be done by this meet. I am really looking forward to it. I want to make sure I extend the map further north, as there are more conservation land to the north of the map. However, some of that is Carlisle land, so that might be another land owner to get permits from.

I need to get through the last weeks of the house renovation though. An endless stream of picking things out. Tile, counter tops, paint colors, etc.
