Did the Sol-O course at Mendon Ponds and was definitely rusty. Going to C1 I wasn't aggressive enough staying closer to the swamp so I was too far left. Lost quite a bit of time going to C6 as I talked myself into the wrong hill. Got quite confused going to C9 and ended up going thru some brush just to take the long way around. Lost time going to C10 thinking the rock wall was a trail, not finding it and going thru more junk than necessary. Went unnecessarily far around to get to C12. C14 was a problem - first my calf suddenly was strained, then I lost focus and thought I needed to go west to C13 instead of south to C14. After that it was just a matter of limping in.

Cancelled Zwift for the summer, effective today, but it was cold and rainy outside so I used the monthly 25k free trial. Did the Watopia volcano loop to get some climb in to extend the time. Worked the KOM climb sort of hard and beat my time from three weeks ago by about a minute.

Stopped on Edgewood at the canal on the way home from work and decided some tempo work was in order. Did a one mile warm-up, then 3x1 mile with just a 1 min walk after each. Target was 9:00, but I managed to go 8:52, 8:43, 8:41. So my Garmin gave me credit for a new record 5K of 28:11, which would include 2 minutes of walking.

Did the Innsbruck WCI course which included the KOM that I did last week at the end of a ride and I was over 1.5 minutes faster this time. Backed off the rest of the way as I watched Luke's teammates run the 400 on Cortland's live stream, with Neil getting edged out by 0.01 seconds at the end. We did get to see Luke on the stream talking to his roommate after the 800.
