Still a little tired from yesterday climb. Since I worried about driving in a bad traffic on the way home I opted to do the red course. First control was a long road run. Words were mostly open. Runners course. I tried to run but just not in shape in be fast anymore. Part way through the course I stepped into a big hole while reading my map. Twisted my ankle some but not too bad after walking a few minutes on it.
Only real mistake was the long leg (#6 I think). I hit a clearing and veered away from the control. I don' t think the clearing is same as mapped at this point.

Got home in time to walk with Darcy. Went up around the Park and then to the CVS to see if there were any good halloween sales. Only candy which we didn't need more of.

Too much climb to be fun. Walked most of the course.

Got home in time to walk with Darcy. Highlight of the day. Walk up around the park.

My back was still a little sore but mostly ok. I was more worried about my left wrist. It was ok but didn't seem quite healed.
We played the team in front of us in the standings and are capable of beating. We got off to a good start and won the first game. Unfortunately we had some bad rotations the next two games where we gave up a bunch of points in a row. We played even but with the run of point we clearly lost. This officially puts us out of the playoffs.

Our consolation game of the playoffs. We lost in the same manner we always do. Our defence pushes up and then can't get back in time for a fast break and the other team scores.
I played hard. I was running hard but then my back starting hurting so I had to slack off some. I spent most the time chasing but never touching the ball. We lost 3-1. Season over now.
After the game my back was feeling pretty sore.
