Headed out on the Avon trail to do an 36 km out and back section which looked like almost to whole way would be on trails. When I got to the trail parking spot I realized I tried to run this one time before and never made it very far as I was constantly lost trying to find the trail markers. Well today was even worse. I hadn't gone more than 2 km and I rolled my left ankle. Felt the ankle give out with a slight pop and I hit the ground right away.
Once I got up I walked gingerly a bit and had the thought maybe I can keep going, but then decided I shouldn't push it. Glad I made that decision because even just on the walk back to the car it was getting really sore and swollen.

Headed out to Wilmont Line to see what the hill climbs out there would be like. It was a good workout, but far too much driving for an early morning workout. Took me close to 20 min to get there. I can't help but feel like that's time I could have been running.
Really sore this morning from the weekend (combination of running and working on the deck), but need to get my distance in for the GRRAVT. So headed out for a walk this morning, which was really nice because no one was out.
