Normal PE we did 800m which I jogged with my friends as it was the day after the big weekend :L so got about 5 minutes whic tbh wasnt that bad for jogging haha.. also two relays which were good.

Then we did rounders skills and random shit.. properly funny accually best PE in ages :)

We do double on a monday so that explains the mass amounts of sport...

Oh dear, I dont really want to say anything just that I had a really bad bad race..

Tbh my season hasnt been so great this year and I was pretty disapointed because I know I can do the running it's just everytime I get distracted and it just goes down from there. I dont know why... I keep telling everyone that 'its okey cos i'm a first year' but when people I know I can beat keep doing better than me it gets me down pretty bad...
I just want to do great in Italy, which was my aim for this year and hopefully all the work will have paided of for then and maybe just maybe I might have a nice, clean and good run for once :)

Anyway on with the race..

Felt really good, had a pretty long 25ish minute warm up with every stretch I could think of and zoned well remembering where the people on my course went on the first control and everything

Number one was really great, I saw kathrine (bett) who set of 1 minute ahead of me and was only a few seconds behind her punching number 1 and 2 :) We were toghether and I overtook her on the way to number three which as i was going so fast I didnt concentrate on the control and then went in to far and got lost even on the easiest control, then finally after 10 minutes mopping around found it.

The problem I have is that I give up and begin the think about random other stuff like clothes and random shit, so number 4 went crap too and I wasted another 10 minutes on that even though it also was easy and I must have seen the control site at least 5 times I just didnt think it was there as to me it was a bush not a knoll as it was supposed to be and the veg boundary was really vague.

No 5 was okey and no 6 went okey too ish.... it really was a crap race, but the rest were the same, not concentrating and misjudging the difficulty of the controls when I got to the going into hard plans and attack points when really all I needed to do was just traffic light rather than 'complecating it up' ... The rest were good I guess apart from my route on the long leg to number 11 or something across the river ( ive lost the map :L ) (for now) which took me up the wrong open and into some random bushes and loads of crap ground ..

I felt good for the rest of the course as I said, by that time I had got into it but was pretty tired after going round and round so im gonna say I did 7km even though it was 5.2 :L this is how wrong I went.

I would love to say I didnt care, but I was like 25th out of 30 and was pretty embarrased to say the least.. It was just annoying when I was 4th going into number 1 and 2 ...

What fun.. wish me luck in Italy :L

A kind of low training race on Ling Fell, Cockermouth.

Was pretty easy and hardly any climb but I did that short so I wasn't to tired for the BC.

Was accually first by 6 minutes :) Which felt really good after my crap year. From the bottom to the top eh ;)

Nicee race, long, good controls and felt very fit and ready for the weekend.
