Day 1 US Classic Champs Red course was a major physical fail. I so wanted to run faster but just could not. Didn't make any big mistakes but lost a lot of time to Sandra due to being so slow.
I put my comments for each leg of the course into the split analysis comments section, which really forced me to analyze each leg thoroughly.

One-cowboy relay in wyoming, super fun. Tough running at altitude and hard breathing. Came in 13th overall.

Doing a little mentoring today with Julia! She is a great student and we had great fun practicing compass work today at Eagle Rock. It was a good exercise for us both. Actual time spent in the woods was ~3 hrs but it flew by fast (set streamers, Opractice, searching for lost car key..(found it where I fell)). Ankle and arches feeling Ok.
