Sickness getting worse overnight and after flying (not fun being sick on the plane btw). Nostrils burning in this dry air + major headache.
Balter and I went on a nice hike this morning on our way to the Sprint venue. It was a mellow ascent of Mt Rose but we didn't quite get there. Felt better afterwards.

Harriman part 2. Visited some not so lovely parts today, and again decided on taking peoples through nicer areas. What is happening to my sadistic nature? So disappointed in myself. It's Ok though, there's still time to recover.

Sad to miss Pawtuckaway training weekend but had to go to Harriman to vet my courses this weekend. Woods are turning colors already since it's been so dry; blueberry bushes turning brown on high ground, die bushes, die. Normally, I'm big a fan of blueberries but running through them is just a pain in the butt. But, I went through some really lovely parts of my course today, just need to pat myself on the back for this section. Now I'm worried I'm being too nice for the Highlanders.
Funny thing happened today: I grabbed two of my O-sneakers that are the same brand and by accident I grabbed two right foot ones, and only discovered this once I was ready to go out in the forest. Ooops. Thank goodness I didn't grab two of the left foot ones. Because these shoes are so awesome though, I was able to run in them as is without much problem, only my big toe was slightly bothered. Now the bigger issue emerges: which pair do I log my mileage on??
