This is addressed to Australians, but anyone else is welcome

Hi all,

About time I made contact,

Can I first acknowledge that we have had a team selected for the World Cup races in Tasmania, for this to happen, we had many athletes nominate, in which a number of you didn’t make it. I want to recognise all the hard work that was done by those who missed out, and let you know, that the team we have, wouldn’t have been as strong as it is, if it wasn’t for you guys, pushing for those spots in the WC. I wish you all the best in future selections.

To the team that is selected, well done, and to any one else that may be interested, we should now look to see what we are going to do between now, and the WC races, which are just over 2 months away. I plan to run a couple of training camps that you may be interested in:

Training camp 1.

My plan for this, is it will be in Tasmania on the weekend 13-14th Dec, and include Monday the 15th, with Tuesday being an extra day, for those who are keen to do a bit more. ATM you can pick up airfares with JetStar ex Melbourne for $49, and Sydney $59, one way.

Registration of interest can be made on Eventor were you can also see who else has asked for more info. I will contact all of those by email

Training Camp 2

This camp will be based around the Warm up for Tassie events that are in Victoria from the 26 –28th Dec. There will be an additional training on Beckworth after the Saturday event, Sunday will be at Dunga Mount after Tarrengower, and additional training on the Monday morning at Mt Hickey for those who are keen for more. Will also look at some sprint training based around Melbourne, in the days after this camp, and before you head off to Tasmania for the WC

Registration of interest can be made on Eventor

Training Camp 3.

This one is just in the planning stages, and is addressed to all athletes, regardless of a ability, or aims. Plan is to have a much wider based camp, going for about a week, thinking about having this in the lead up week to Easter, or even in the week after Easter, so will be based in SA.

Happy to talk to anyone about how to shape this camp
