On the kalk bay/muizenberg trails with Robbie.

Lovely to be back on some proper trails (and getting some vert).

As usual the two of us running together turned into a fairly hard effort a few km into the run, and I broke up the final climb. Definitely going to take a little while to get back to decent fitness.

Finishing off with a lekker swim in the tidal pool.

Knees feeling decent running. Left knee just a bit stiff/tender after.

On the Strand beach.

Out Muizenberg direction to the fence guarding the "national key site", then a bit of a progression run back and to the end of the pier. 4:00, 3:20; 3:10. Harder sand and a bit of wind assistance helped the last couple km.

Then a jog back to the car after.
