Half-marathon Log Run hike with a great group, which made up for the less than stellar weather we had! It was absolutely teeming down as we were getting ready to start, and I remember thinking to myself, "is anyone else going to suggest that we NOT do this?!" Fortunately no one did, and the heavy rain stopped just after we began.

This was a fun loop course that made great use of the trail system in around Dundas. As usual, I was looking forward to the post-event socializing as much as the event itself, and it did not disappoint. Great location, company, and treats!

Fired up from an unplanned 4:35 wake up call and two big cups of coffee, I had a great interval workout on the treadmill. I don't run 'fast' often but it always feels good when I do!
