The pace was fast off the line and I wasn't sure how fit I was given my irregular training in the last couple of months but I tried to keep up with Catriona for the first lap, with the other Welsh girls in sight. I got dropped on the second lap but managed to keep my place during the final lap. Such a nice course through the woods etc and fun little banks to get over in the last lap. So good to have the orienteering clan cheering me on and great to see Kris come 2nd! Also spikes were good :)
11th U23, 29th in Senior Women
