Was planning to swim instead today but back felt fine! Put k-tape on for run anyway but didn't feel it at all :)

90mins - Walked the W21 course (except 4-10) with Rachel Emmerson. Spiked every control ;)
Back feeling more mobile and the K-tape helped

British Night Champs at Great Tower
Injured myself :( On the way to 16, running up the hill, I think I must have been looking down at my map whilst lifting my leg up or something because I managed to strain my lower back. Walk back to assembly slowly from there. Gutted to have not been able to finish the course but I really don't want to risk injuring my back properly.
Prior to that, was having a decent run. A few mistakes requiring more/better use of compass and will have to look back at 12 (not entirely sure where I went!).
Big shout out to Alice for changing my shoes and to Gabriella for TLC (and to Mark for doing my ankle tape before - had no ankle problems! ;) )

Realised I'd forgotten my key after running 2/3 of the way home so had to go back for it

Ran out of time this morning but wanted to do some kind of session at some point today so tried out a treadmill tempo/progression
10min wu
5min each @ 4:30, 4:20, 4:10, 4:00, 3:50 (with the final minute at 3:45)
5min wd (would have done more but had to head off to the mobility session)

Got harder at the end - HR graph is pretty much a straight line from 140 starting 4:30 to 185 at the end of the 3:45.
