Short warmup then the Porcupine Mountain Trail Marathon. Finished 4th overall in 3:30. Less than 3 minutes out of 2nd, winner was 3:19. Went very easy/comfortable for the first 14 miles, was in 8th or 9th at that point. Legs felt good at that point so I really picked it up and actually felt like I was racing. Felt good to move like that. The single track got very muddy but were a blast to run on...definitely glad I wore the speedcross 2's! Definitely a world of difference from how I felt at the Birkie Trail Marathon 2 weeks earlier. Hopefully this is a turning point for a better 2014! 15 minute cooldown with my dad after.
