Tonight was my first training run, in oh, forever. Will start logging my runs separately - this tag now solely depicts gym rat cardio.

Don't have all my winter weather running gear yet, so starting the first week of training indoors on the treadmill. Covered the screen, so even though I was only to run 1 mile, by the time I checked, 1.3 had passed. Felt good and wasn't miserable. Upper body was stiff - can you say 'former sprinter?' - but have lots of time to work on pace and mechanics.

Left side much tighter through my glutes, hamstrings, and gastroc/soleus. Will really need to work on stretching to avoid injuries down the road.

Anterior and Medial Delts - 3 x 12, 8 lbs
Posterior Delts - 3 x 12, 5 lbs
Bicep Bar Curl - 3 x 12, 30 lbs
Tricep Over the Head Dip - 3 x 12, 15 lbs. Could go heavier here, but irritating to my L wrist, need to find a new exc.
Overhead Press - 3 x 12, 25 lbs
Could feel that I worked back yesterday. Increased weight on all exc. with the exception of post. Delt and tricep. Added the Overhead press today - was tough to finish, but felt great.

Wanted saddle time for 2 reasons:
1. Get my ass in shape
2. Easy textabilty with my Love - normally I don't text away while doing cardio, but tonight was well worth it. He helped make that hour go by much faster!
