Orienteering 1:15:00 [2] 4.5 km (16:40 / km)

Last O in IN before moving. Nice Orange course using most of small 1:5000 map that includes lots of private residential property. Followed someone to #5 and #11, missed #6 twice, headed towards wide tributary and river on way to #9 before deciding to go back in the direction I had come from in order to use the bridge over the river, didn't look first under the wooden structure at #9.

M came and walked on trails. B got confused and didn't punch #12 and also got glasses knocked off and eye poked by a branch. Fine during lunch but then was seeing double out of that eye at the art museum. We didn't think much of it so looked at the European design exhibit. Afterwards, feeling discomfort, he went to the car to put in eyedrops. Came back with eye watering and bloodshot and when M and I inspected we thought we could see a scratch over one side of the pupil. Not knowing how serious it was or whether it would get worse or infected, we went to the IU Medical Center, not thinking that if we had driven back to B-town, he probably would have been seen by someone more quickly. 4+ hrs and some tests later, it is indeed an abrasion. B will have blurring for up to ~48 hrs and a cream and a Vicodin (!) scrip to help deal with it.

Then we all went to dinner at a nice German restaurant. And that was my exciting Saturday.

Rowing machine 25:00 [2]

Based on last time, I thought an 8 resistance would be challenging enough over 25 minutes. It worked alright, but I'll try 9 next time.

Running 37:00 [3]

Two walking breaks. I've discovered that walking backwards is fun. Maybe I'll do that during breaks from now on.

Running 37:00 [3]

Only one walking break. L parts felt slightly wonky, but I think they will get over it.
