8 AM

Running 1:30:00 [3] 13.0 km (6:55 / km)
slept:6.0

pre-activation
16:30 warmup to Italian Hall
active warmup
3x(5 hill Dufferin circuit)
17:30 cooldown
level 1 plyos
push/sit/pull ups
roll
stretch
ice

Splits: 7:46, 7:58, 7:44

This was good. Joe and I really got after it on the uphills and the recoveries were good as well. I think that the middle one was slower due to the conditions on the hills (the second and third hill during the middle set were the two slippery ones). Good effort overall.

Biking 30:00 [3] 3.0 km (10:00 / km)
slept:5.5

spin bike
core

Just something easy to shakeout the legs. Felt much better after this. Did some good core and stretching as well.

19min cooldown
level 1 plyos

This was really good. I really focused on taking things one rep at a time, whether it was the recovery or the interval. I was also much closer to Dom and Zimak than usual. Really good overall.

This was okay. The swim was not very good and hasn't been very good in a couple of weeks. The rest of the pool was good though. I really focused on form today. Strides felt good too. Feeling pretty tired overall.

Average pace off day. Feeling quite tired.

Running 1:30:00 [3] 13.5 km (6:40 / km)
slept:6.0

pre-activation
15min warmup
5min tempo
active warmup (200m: 33.4)

15min cooldown
3x hurdle drills
push/sit/pull-ups
roll
stretch
ice

Splits: 2:49, 3:12, 2:52, 3:08

This was pretty good. I really tried to get competitive during the brazilians. The 1000s, although they were really tough, also went well. I ran them much better than this time last year. For whatever reason, I was just dying during the 1000s though. I felt super heavy and my breathing was way out of control; I barley hung onto Joe. However, this was good despite feeling really awful throughout.

slept:5.5

pre-activation
10min run
10min row

This was good. Joe and I really got after it today. The running was really good as were the cross training portions. Feeling pretty beaten up.
4 PM

Biking 1:00:00 [3] 6.0 km (10:00 / km)

bike
core
stretch

Just did an easy hour on the stationary bike. Felt pretty terrible going in but a bit better afterwards. Quite fatigued in general.

Running 1:15:00 [3] 16.66 km (4:30 / km)
slept:7.5

pre-activation (6 lunges)
run
HOH drills
hip mobility

roll

This was good. The pace was a bit slower than last week. However, the effort was spot on and I felt much better afterwards. I was feeling pretty beaten up prior to this and the run definitely helped with that.
