Warmed up and then did 15 min tempo on Quarry Trail. Felt good. Jogged back to hill that leads to the climbing area. Might have been a little too steep, but I did 10x1min. Last 10 secs of each one were very difficult but overall I felt pretty strong.
Did the first 1.5 hr at an easy pace. Flatter sections felt good while the short steep ups made my legs burn pretty good even at the slow pace. Picked it up for the last 1/2 hrs and felt pretty good (except one steep section which again my legs felt like lead!)

Tried out new Salomons in the rain. Nice run (wet!!). Out from Robie Point and looped around. Felt good and liked the new shoes.
Out and back on connector trail. Good pace with 7x1:30 pick-ups. Felt better on the second half of the workout and felt like I was keeping a good pace in between the pickups.
