Run 4 60:00-70:00 easy rolling trail run. We camped over night at Kenosha Pass and ran the Colorado Trail heading West. We were able to stay at 10,000 feet pretty much the entire run.
I could feel my left knee on and off. I took two Advil and iced the night before and iced after Sunday's run on the car ride home.
Run #1 4 hr flat/hilly/flat. Per my separate email that I sent you this was a disaster with my left knee. Ran 5 miles and came home and got on the mountain bike for 19.56 miles instead.

Run#1
Road mountain bike as replacement for long run due to left knee issues.
Run #5 60:00 flat recovery run. I didn't run flat. I went along with Paul. We ran a short hilly run from Memorial Park in Manitou, to Intemann, to the top of Red Mountain and back to park.
** Starting up the climb on Red Mountain is when I felt a sharp pain in my left knee. It didn't last for long, but obviously came back the next day.
First night of WMBA. Ride was at Stratton Preserve. I started with the easy group (beginner mountain bikers). It was so painfully slow I can't even tell you. If we covered 5 miles in 90 min I would be shocked. I didn't have my GPS on. I'm not sure what to do, because my fitness level is much stronger than women in the easy group, but I don't think my skill level would be strong enough for the intermediate group. I didn't get a workout at all. It will be difficult for me to be patient with the crowd of approximately 30 women in the easy group as well as that I don't feel like I am getting a workout.
60 min hill fartlek run. My cool down ended up a couple of minutes less. I ran this around the Westside of town on the roads. I had 6 decent hills on my route.
