ayup run - just a short one, maybe a bit faster than a normal jog as I'm always running scared in the dark. Grant suggested running in the middle of the road on quiet streets but I think I preferred running on footpaths of busy roads as they're way more lit. I'll never find it relaxing though.

Didn't run Wed, Thur, Fri. Lots of excuses - bit sick myself (sore throat, aching muscles etc), really sore back from carrying banjo around all week (who is quite sick), raining and is now dark when Grant gets home from work!! Need to toughen up

Woke up feeling totally crap but got a little better as the day went on so ended up going to training.
Good turn out for some fartlek on Bruce Ridge. Quite fun in a not so fun kind of way ;-)

Women and Girls fun run
Had been looking forward to this for a couple of months as a chance to break 20 but feeling very flat and sluggish all week and by this morning just couldn't muster any enthusiasm at all. Ah well.. had an ok run - never felt like I tried particularly hard or 'raced' well but happy to finish. Was by myself from about 1.5km and was pretty sure I was safe to get under 20 by then so maybe just was a bit lazy. Love this fun run though - have done it heaps of times.
