Running 53:01 [3] 10.2 km (5:12 / km)

Race for Life 10k in Aberdeen with Shona. Course was a bit boring, two laps on the road by the beach. Was fun though. Course was longer than 10k and their markers were all messed up so that messed me up towards the end.

Nice run on Paddys side of town.

Strength and Conditioning 50:00 [3]

Bench press - 3 sets 10kg - 10,10,10 (struggled with last one)
Bar dips (36kg assistance) - 2 sets (as many as possible) - cant remember how many...
Chin ups (45kg assistance) - 3 sets (as many as possible) - think I did about 7 or so
Upright row - 3 sets (25kg) - think it was about 8 each time
Squats - 3 sets (20kg) - cant remember how many. First time using the squat rack, felt weird
Deadlift - (10kg + whatever the bar is) - I suck at deadlifts still. Forgot to watch Andrews video, will need to do that!

Running 33:19 [3] 5.8 km (5:45 / km)

Hill reps with Paddy. Ran from his flat to Bells Brae. Ran up the hill fast 4 times, jogged the 5th then 2 more then jogged up the last. It was fun.

Note

Had such a busy week last week so literally no time for anything! Had to take Tuesday off, ended up staying at work till 7pm and having a Nandos on Wed so couldn't run, through to Glasgow straight after work on Friday and busy that night, moving Paddy out of his flat in Glasgow on Saturday and seeing his family and yesterday was with my brother and niece all day!

Glad Paddy is back in Edinburgh now. We have big training plans. Hill reps tomorrow!
