Cook Lk Burley Weston Tharwa for some fence hoping (not my fault) Tidbinbilla for Drink , frogs and Ice Cream Cotter Weston Cook. Started out feeling really tired, picked up at about Kambah and really enjoyed the rest of the ride watching all the Fitz Challenges.

Mt Painter with BB. Beautiful morning, just nice to make it to the top. Should be 2nd 20 min run.

Cycling race 1:20:00 [4] 43.0 km (1:52 / km)

Dairy Flat Crit. Raced D grade and managed to stay on. Sprint every lap made the pace slightly slower as all the sprinters nneded to recover. Would be so much easier if I could master turning better. Sprinted into top corner so was always first around it. Worked my way thru the pack at the bottom end so wasn't last around, still had to work to get back on. Brown snake on the road, come within 2 metres of it, scared the hell out of me. Rode over to NM, for Coffee and Cheescake with BB after race

Jindabyne to Mt Kosc with Bruce, legs felt tired at start.Head felt ok considering.Great feeling to be up at Charlotte Pass looking out at snow. Weather great. Enjoyable ride just ran out of steam.

Cycling race 1:30:00 [4] 50.0 km (1:48 / km)

Uriarra H'Cap. Didn't race smart or was it just didn't have the strengh to hold on. Made a break with 2 other D2 and two D1 riders coming out of Conder Crk, stayed on until the turn at Uriarra down to 4 riders, managed to hang on for about 2k but they powered away. Left to TT back to about 1k past Homestead, hooked onto a Cgrader. A Grade got us at the short turn, BB yells hop on but got cut off and went off the road and couldn't get on to pack although BB tried to slow them down for me (Thanks BB). Left out on my own again to TT back to Uriarra, got a couple of rides on some faster riders but just couldn't hang on. Maybe smarter thing to do was stay with D2 and not use up all energy TT. Had I been able to stay on to pack I broke with would have got good time.40k ave 31.3

Road Race of 45k ave 33.7. Hardest race ever. Great fun, managed to stay with leaders all the way to a sprint finish to get a bronze.
