Note

Didn't feel well yesterday evening and today morning. Not feeling sick either, though. Decided to drop the race as I wasn't motivated for just jogging through, and I'm sure I couldn't have run fast today.

Running 19:00 [3]

Feeling totally out of shape, I just tried to jog a little bit as I had plenty of time.
Really nice weather. It is indeed a pity that it doesn't make sense to train more in this beautiful autumn weather.

Running intervals 1:01:15 intensity: (35:35 @2) + (5:00 @3) + (4:00 @4) + (16:40 @5)

Another beautiful autumn day, again had nothing better to do thant training. BUT: I was too tired to train a lot today. So I decided to do some track-intervals, as somehow I could motivate myself for doing that. And perhaps it will switch a trigger in my body...
The intervals itself were tough, and the speed was slow. I had to fight just to keep the pace of 3'20''/km, which normally should be easy to achieve. Thought about breaking after 3 intervals, but then decided to go on. On the last two ones I suddenly felt a bit better and I was in "fighting mood" again.
Times:
3'20''
3'18''
3'18''
3'17''
3'16''

Considering the bad shape and the fighting, I am happy I could keep/increase the speed all the time. I didn't want to run faster than 3'15'' anyway, so I am kind of satisfied with that.

Running 1:38:47 [2]

Easy jogging Liestal - Schleifenberg - Arisdorf - Liestal.
Heavy legs from yesterday, so I was running really easy. Really nice weather though, and had plenty of time, that's why I was running so long...

First day of my 3-weeks military service in Liestal. At the moment, there are only WK-soldiers there, the rookies are arriving on wednesdays and are busy getting material till the end of the week. So, there's absolutely nothing to do this week except some little jobs. And, we are already two sports soldiers this week, our main task for this week is "personal training". This also means I can attend most lectures at ETH in Zurich, which is really nice. Next week(s), 1-2 other sports instructors are arriving, so we're definitively gonna have a nice and easy time in Liestal.
To be honest, I don't understand why the Swiss government can affort such a huge waste of time, money and resources. But as long I can almost do whatever I want, I really don't mind. Having a 3 weeks paid training camp is realy not too bad :-)
