Continuing on to the Fells. I did much better on the off-road portion - sort of remembering how to mountain bike - keeping balance, maintaining momentum over obstacles, keeping a good line. fun stuff.

The great Hudson Highlander with Barb and Adam. Pretty efficient and not too slow on the first map, then settled into a slow, easy pace for the rest of the race. Good navigation, great company, beautiful woods. We even allowed ourselves a 15 minute burger/chili break before heading out on map 3. Awesome!
