swimming 35:00 [3]

Swam well in the pool with flotation aids. Felt good. Bit tired from the workout moments before.

Good workout.

running 1:39:00 [3]

mixed bag run. First 45 min with Becky, then on my own. Ran the Memorial Park trail system...pretty nice single track in there. Then a zip around the 3 mile trail, then back in the trails. Good run. Amazing weather...hot and sunny today!
Left calf felt tight as run went on.

BLASTING 30:00 [3]

swimming 40:00 [3]

swim in the pole. Used floation for legs, just went with arms for most of it.

BLASTING 30:00 [3]

Big leg blast. Squats, jump squats, lunges and squats around the track, calf work, tibia work...only because they have a machine there.

BLASTING 1:05:00 [3]

Hard blast at the Houstonian gym. Awesome gym. Huge track. Tonnes of machines and weights. Did chins, incline bench, flat bench, shoulder work with bands, leg work (bosu squats with 35 shoulder press), track lunges, track squates, tuck hold on bosu ball. Ab work to finish.

running 55:00 [4]

Run through Memorial Park. Probably about 6 - 7 miles. Ran some trail, some off-trail, and then the 3 mile loop. Tempo run, hr around 160-170 most time so I guess it got high enough for a 4.

running 1:00:00 [3]

Memorial park run with Becky. Good run on trails. Got too dark so doubled back on roads. Didn't hit the 3 mile loop. Running is feeling pretty good these days. Found out that one of my class mates is a pro-runner and turns a 2:17 marathon with aspirations for a 2:12. Sick.
