So yesterday I saw the podiatrist again. He seems to think I have strained my peroneal tendon and that I may have bursitis in my heel (not fasciatis as originally thought) I have been steadily increasing my activities and now I can ramp things up as tolerated. First I am buying new shoes- I will probably pick up some Hardrocks tonight. I find those shoes really stiff but I think that's what I need.

We embarked on an urban odyssey this evening, first walking down the hill to Issaquah, then to run some errands. Including the errands we were gone almost 3 hours. Nice crisp weather out there. No suprise, but my heel is a tad bit sore, nothing too crazy though. I tried jogging but until i get new shoes that is iffy. I wanted to put in some time on my feet to see how they held up.
