Orienteering (attackpoint exercise) 38:56 [4] 3.6 km (10:49 / km)
shoes: HELLY HANSON - trail cutter

Went to the training at Glendale. It was pretty hard. We had to find Geoff T 's attackpoint (marked with a control) then we had to find the actual control marked with a control minus the flag, which i found hard. I think i tend to run to the aproximaty of the contorl then jsut find the falg so this caught me out. After about 6 of those there was NO attackpoint marked and we had to find our own way. Good solid training =D

Orienteering (Compassless course) 10:36 [5] 1.4 km (7:34 / km)
shoes: HELLY HANSON - trail cutter

The second exersise (and the last) was a course wich we were to do without a compass. All the contorls had flags on them which was good and I'd say that i did well at this exersise

Running (Newcastle X-country) 30:03 [4] 5.6 km (5:22 / km)
shoes: HELLY HANSON - trail cutter

Newcastle X-country at caves beach. Decided to run in my hellys so i only got one pair wet. It was a tough run. My legs lacked a bit of spritelyness but an all right km rate in the hills. Tracks were muddy but a fun course.

shoes: Asics Gel-1130

walking/jogging 47:00 [3] 4.75 km (9:54 / km)
shoes: Asics Gel-1130

Went running and felt good until my shins and hip started hurting at about 3km then before long the pain became unbearable and i walked home. I've got to make sure i stay uninjured for vic.

Note

SAD SAD day for me since Deano pulled the pin. Without him at the helm im struggling to see the Roos having any chance of the finals.
