Orienteering race (aus schools relay) 35:18 [5] 5.5 km (6:25 / km)

got a good leg time somehow.. not quite sure what happened to everyone else coz i think i lost a few minutes all up on mistakes, well defnitely more than one anyway, coz i lost 1 on the first control! (mm yes .. pattern happening i know..) but yeah gnenerally alright. wish i was fitter! we came 2nd after nz :)

Orienteering race (aus schools champs (ind)) 49:15 [5] 6.8 km (7:15 / km)

think i lost 6 or 7 minutes from mistakes altogether, so not overly happy, but still it wasnt tooo bad. as well as those i just generally felt a bit tired for some reason. heavy legs. silly second control.. got near it and started doubting myself.. ran off way too far to the right, then had to go back. troublewith the gold mining. my fine nav needs a lot of work.

Orienteering (vic long champs) 1:00:18 [5] 6.8 km (8:52 / km) +305m 7:15 / km

good navigation, slow running. just not very motivated. gotta learn to push myself in the bush. i'm better at doing that on a track, coz it's easier just to make myself keep it constant and i never walk at all. hmm. running got muchh faster when bridget caught me at about the fourth last control. i would have taken a coupleof minute longer in that section of the course if she hadnt been there - it just shows that i can go faster i just need to push myself harder. i was still navigating myself, just tried to stick with her.

Orienteering race (aus middle champs) 38:32 [3] 3.6 km (10:42 / km)

mistakes on a few, including losing about 2 mins on the first control. got close to it then stuffed around going further away from it. oops. even made a mistake on the next one (when you'd think i was being extra careful) and lsot another minute. got abit better from then on but still some time losses.
