FRA Relays.
Never really able to go full speed because of my partner. Pete was far better than Ashy from last year though. Never really got to hit a strong pace.
Terrible map for vegetation.
Basically you were best to run along paths.
15th place for Ambleside. We should've been higher up than that but the teams around us were no chumps.

National 6 Stage Road Relays, ~5.2km with some climb.

Realised after 200m that I was probably going a bit too quickly but eased my way up the hill and then settled into a rhythm.
On the second lap I took 10-20m out of Kevin Bell's lead. maybe by going quite hard down the long hill before the bridge.

Finished strongly. Wish it had been further.

From the hospital, past Househole, down the track in the mud, across the fields, past Low Hall and home. Had a little encounter of the canine kind. Little bit scary.

Had a nap after work then headed down to the gym.
Not very easy today. The quads were sore all day. Apart from a bashed-up R) elbow I'm relatively unscathed from a week-end of too much racing.
Head cold still present. A few easy days should help.
